I took a photography and darkroom class in the spring
of 2002. For the class, I wanted to shoot enough film that I could
develop several photos that were worth printing in the darkroom for
my assignments. I decided to make an outing to Portland's Japanese
Garden, and as luck would have it, there was spring snow on the morning
that I was there. It was utterly beautiful. I took two rolls of black
and white film and one roll of Velvia, thoroughly enjoying myself.
Here are several of the photos from that outing.
